Captain’s Charity

My Reason for choosing Dementia UK is that my dear departed mother and both my wife’s late parents suffered with Dementia in later life so I have seen first-hand how devastating it can be for the person experiencing it and for the close relatives.

I also wanted to support a local charity and chose Newbury soup kitchen.

Thankfully I have never personally experienced homelessness but if I ever did I would like to think there are organisations out there who can provide a hot meal and some emotional support in what must be an incredibly difficult time.

Throughout the golfing year, we will offer a number of opportunities to support these two worthy causes and I want to thank you all in advance for you continued generosity and support!
